Novatech's 24 Hour VR Charity Stream!

Thu 16th Nov 2017 - 3:22pm : General : Gaming

Our friends over at Novatech are basing an event out of their goodwill to raise money for Children in Need this winter, and they need our help!

The Story;

"We're going to be recreating the Le Mans 24h on our Full Motion Simulator in Virtual Reality. Driving around the official racing circuit, the Circuit de la Sarthe we will be starting from 9am Friday 17th November and finishing at you guessed it, 9am Saturday 18th November.

Everything will be set up in our Portsmouth showroom and be live streamed in it's complete entirety on our Twitch channel (just search for NovatechTeamGaming).

Livestream on Twitch

We'll also be having a staff (and customer) cake sale down in our shop to help towards this and all of our staff will be taking turns in getting involved and driving throughout the day and then the night shift team will take over."

The Details;

"From 9am Friday 17th November until 9am Saturday 18th November 2017, our determined staff will experience virtual reality sessions on our Atomic A3 full motion simulators with Oculus Rift VR headsets, within Project Cars racing simulator to help raise funds for Children in Need.

And we need your help to race ahead and raise as much money for Children in Need as possible. For our sanity’s sake, we hope you’re feeling generous!

Please check out our Facebook and Twitter for more information on how you can watch and donate in real time as this exciting, unique technological endeavour unfolds.
Let’s test our limits and use virtual reality to make charity a reality for those children in need!"

We at TLR always encourage and support our fellow gamers in their endeavours to better the world we live in, we fully support their act and we wish them the best of luck in their quest!
